Making a worthwhile contribution to the community is critical to North West Ag Services' aspiration to be a great Australian company. The following two components of the community involvement strategy have a positive effect on employee commitment, and differentiate our brand in terms of image and reputation.

Employee involvement

Getting involved in the community has become part of the culture at North West Ag Services. Many company hours are devoted to community projects to assist with their success. In addition, hundreds of out of hours volunteering days are logged each year, with countless additional time devoted to community projects, clubs, and fundraisers outside of work hours. Outstanding volunteering efforts by employees are recognised by the company.

Community partnerships

Working in partnership with community organisations has been a tradition at North West Ag Services for more than two decades. The company continues to find new ways to add value to these relationships to strengthen their foundations and ensure that the outcomes are maximised. Local football, netball, golf, bowls and soccer clubs enjoy North West Ag Services' support along with local appeals, fundraisers and social events. North West Ag Services is the major sponsor of the North Central Umpires Association and is a major sponsor of the Mallee Football League, and regards sport for all ages in the community as an important thread to the fabric of rural life.
